4. Setup

4.1. Initial Opening (Using Emergency Key)

  1. Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a small cover on the electronic keypad panel.
  2. Insert one of the provided emergency keys into the keyhole.
  3. Turn the key clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob on the keypad panel clockwise to open the safe door.
  4. Once open, remove the key and store it in a safe place outside the safe.

4.2. Battery Installation

  1. With the safe door open, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely. The electronic system should now be powered.

4.3. Mounting the Safe

For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a wall or floor.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, ensuring it is a solid surface (e.g., concrete wall, wooden stud, or floor).
  2. Open the safe door and locate the pre-drilled holes on the back or bottom of the safe.
  3. Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor using the safe as a template.
  4. Drill pilot holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall/floor material.
  5. Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided fixing bolts. Tighten the bolts firmly.

5. Operating the Safe

5.1. Setting Your Personal Code

You can set a personal code of 3 to 8 digits.

  1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep and the yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
  2. Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3 to 8 digit code on the keypad.
  3. Press the "#" button to confirm. You will hear a beep, and the yellow light will turn off, indicating the code has been successfully set.
  4. Test your new code with the door open before closing it.

5.2. Opening the Safe with Your Code

  1. Enter your 3 to 8 digit personal code on the keypad.
  2. Press the "#" button. The green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
  3. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

5.3. Closing and Locking the Safe

  1. Close the safe door.
  2. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now locked.

5.4. Emergency Key Use

In case you forget your code or the batteries run out, you can use the emergency keys:

  1. Remove the emergency keyhole cover on the keypad panel.
  2. Insert the emergency key and turn it clockwise.
  3. Simultaneously turn the knob clockwise to open the safe.

5.5. Alarm System

The safe is equipped with an integrated alarm system. If an incorrect code is entered three consecutive times, the alarm will sound, and the safe will temporarily lock for a short period.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Battery Replacement
