Setup Instructions
1. Battery Installation and Charging

2. Attaching the Belt Clip
To attach the belt clip, align the clip with the grooves on the back of the radio and slide it downwards until it clicks into place. To remove, push the release tab and slide the clip upwards.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Volume Control
To power on the radio, rotate the POWER/MENU button clockwise until you hear a click and the display illuminates. To power off, rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks off. Adjust the volume by rotating the same knob. The display will show the current volume level.

2. Channel Selection
Press the MENU button to enter the menu. Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to navigate to the channel selection option. Press MENU again to confirm your selection. The radio features 22 FRS channels. To find an active channel, press the SCAN button. The radio will automatically scan through channels and stop on an active one.
3. Transmitting and Receiving
To transmit, press and hold the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive. The TX icon will appear on the display when transmitting, and the RX icon when receiving.

4. Keypad Lock and Call Alert
To prevent accidental changes to settings, press and hold the CALL/LOCK button until the key lock icon appears on the display. Repeat to unlock. To send a call alert tone to other radios on the same channel, briefly press the CALL button.
