Mopping Function (OZMO Mopping)

For mopping, fill the water tank with clean water and attach the mopping pad. Insert the water tank assembly into the robot. The OZMO 601 will then vacuum and mop simultaneously on hard floors. Remove the water tank and mopping pad when cleaning carpets.

Navigation and Sensors

The robot uses intelligent navigation to cover your floors efficiently. It is equipped with:

  • Obstacle Detection: Sensors help the robot detect and avoid obstacles, preventing collisions with furniture and walls.
  • Anti-Drop Sensors: These sensors prevent the robot from falling down stairs or off ledges.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance of your ECOVACS OZMO 601. Perform these steps regularly:

  • Empty Dust Bin: Empty the dust bin after each cleaning cycle.
  • Clean Filters: Tap the high-efficiency filter to remove dust. Replace filters every 3-6 months, or as needed.
  • Clean Main Brush: Use the cleaning tool to remove hair and debris from the main brush. Replace every 6-12 months.
  • Clean Side Brushes: Remove tangled hair and debris from the side brushes. Replace every 3-6 months.
  • Clean Water Tank and Mopping Pad: After mopping, empty any remaining water from the tank and wash the mopping pad. Allow to air dry.
  • Clean Sensors: Wipe the anti-drop sensors and obstacle detection sensors with a dry cloth to ensure proper function.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ECOVACS OZMO 601, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Robot not charging: Ensure the charging dock is powered on and the robot is correctly aligned with the charging pins. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the dock.
  • Robot gets stuck frequently: Clear obstacles, loose cables, and thick rugs from the cleaning path. The robot may struggle with high thresholds or floor patterns that confuse its sensors.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Empty the dust bin, clean or replace filters, and remove tangled hair from brushes. Ensure the water tank is filled for mopping.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure your robot is within Wi-Fi range and your router is functioning correctly. Try restarting both the robot and your Wi-Fi router. If issues persist, a full reset of the unit and re-pairing with the app may be necessary.
  • Robot not returning to charging base: Ensure the charging dock is accessible and not blocked. The robot may have run out of battery far from the dock if cleaning a very large area.
