4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Initial Charge

1. Carefully remove the back cover of the phone.
2. Locate the battery compartment. If the battery is already inserted, ensure the yellow protective tape is removed from the battery terminals. This tape is for transit safety and must be removed for the phone to power on.
3. Insert the battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
4. Replace the back cover.
