3. Installation Guide
The NineLeaf wireless switch system is designed for easy, wire-free installation of the switch panel itself. The receiver unit requires connection to your electrical circuit.
3.1 Receiver Installation
The receiver must be wired between the power source and the lamp or appliance you wish to control. It is recommended that this step be performed by a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring.
- Safety First: Before beginning any electrical work, ensure the power supply to the circuit is turned off at the main breaker.
- Identify Wiring: Locate the power supply wires and the wires leading to your lamp or appliance.
- Connect Receiver: Wire the receiver according to the diagram provided with the product packaging. Typically, this involves connecting the input side of the receiver to the power supply and the output side to the lamp/appliance.
- Secure Receiver: Once wired, ensure the receiver is securely placed within the electrical box or fixture, away from moisture.
Note: The receiver is designed for AC90V-125V input. Ensure your power supply matches this requirement.
3.2 Wireless Switch Placement
The wireless switch requires no wiring and can be mounted anywhere within range of the receiver. This allows for flexible placement without damaging walls.
- Choose Location: Select a desired location for your switch. This can be on a wall, furniture, or any flat surface.
- Prepare Surface: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth for optimal adhesion if using adhesive pads.
- Mount Switch: Use the provided adhesive pads or screws to securely mount the switch panel. The switch can be easily removed from its mounting frame if needed.

4. Operation and Pairing
The wireless switch and receiver must be paired to function correctly. This system allows for flexible control configurations.
4.1 Initial Pairing
Follow these steps to pair your wireless switch with the receiver:
- Power On: Ensure the receiver is correctly wired and the power supply to the circuit is turned on. The connected lamp/appliance should be off.
- Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the pairing button on the receiver (refer to receiver's specific instructions for button location, usually a small button or wire). The connected lamp/appliance may flash or turn on to indicate pairing mode.
- Press Switch Button: While the receiver is in pairing mode, press any button on the wireless switch you wish to pair. The lamp/appliance should respond (e.g., turn on/off) to confirm successful pairing.
- Exit Pairing Mode: The receiver will automatically exit pairing mode after a few seconds or after successful pairing.
Note: Each button on the wireless switch can be paired independently to control different receivers or functions.
4.2 Multi-Location Control
This system supports multiple switches controlling one light, or one switch controlling multiple lights.
- Multiple Switches to One Light: To have several wireless switches control a single lamp/appliance, simply pair each additional switch to the same receiver following the "Initial Pairing" steps.
- One Switch to Multiple Lights: To have one wireless switch control multiple lamps/appliance, pair the same switch button to each individual receiver connected to those lamps/appliances.

5. Maintenance
The NineLeaf wireless switch is designed for low maintenance. The primary maintenance task involves battery replacement.
5.1 Battery Replacement
The wireless switch is powered by a CR2032 battery, which typically lasts 4-6 years with average use (10 operations per day).
- Remove Switch: Gently pry the switch panel from its mounting frame or adhesive surface.
- Locate Battery Compartment: On the back of the switch, locate the battery compartment.
- Replace Battery: Carefully remove the old CR2032 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Reattach Switch: Snap the switch panel back into its mounting frame or reattach it to the desired surface.
5.2 Cleaning
The switch has an IP6.7 waterproof rating, making it resistant to dust and temporary immersion in water. For cleaning, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge the entire unit for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your NineLeaf wireless control system, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Device Not Responding:
- Ensure the receiver is correctly wired and receiving power.
- Verify that the wireless switch and receiver are properly paired. If not, repeat the pairing process (Section 4.1).
- Check the battery in the wireless switch. Replace if necessary (Section 5.1).
- Ensure the switch is within the operational range of the receiver (130 ft indoor, 1600 ft open field). Obstacles like thick walls can reduce range.
- Intermittent Operation:
- Check for sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects) near the receiver or switch.
- Ensure the receiver is not overloaded. Refer to the maximum output loading in the specifications.
- Switch Buttons Not Functioning as Expected:
- Confirm that each button is paired to the correct receiver or function. Re-pair if necessary.
