4. Setup

4.1. Inserting SIM Cards and MicroSD Card

  1. Locate the SIM card tray on the left side of the device.
  2. Insert the SIM ejection tool into the small hole on the tray to eject it.
  3. Place your Nano-SIM cards into the designated slots. The Redmi 6A supports dual Nano-SIM cards.
  4. If desired, insert a MicroSD card into the dedicated slot for expandable storage up to 256GB.
  5. Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone.

4.2. Charging the Device

  1. Connect the USB cable to the power adapter.
  2. Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  3. Connect the microUSB end of the cable to the charging port at the bottom of your Redmi 6A.
  4. Allow the device to charge until the battery is full before initial use.
