1. Product Overview

2. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Access the Filter Compartment: Turn the unit upside down. Locate the rotating disc on the bottom. Twist to unlock and remove the bottom cover.
3. Install/Check Filter: The unit comes with a True HEPA filter (HS-1944) and a washable pre-filter. Ensure the filter is properly seated inside the compartment. If it's new, remove any plastic packaging from the filter before installation.
4. Close the Compartment: Replace the bottom cover and twist to lock it securely.
5. Position the Purifier: Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface, ensuring adequate space around it for optimal air circulation.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord adapter into the designated port on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

3. Operating Instructions

Control Panel:

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features touch-sensitive buttons for various functions.

Power On/Off and Fan Speed:

• Press the Power button (⏻) to turn the unit on. The default setting is usually low fan speed.
• Tap the fan speed button to cycle through the 3 available speeds: Low (L), Medium (M), and High (H).
• To activate Sleep Mode, continue tapping the fan speed button until the Sleep Mode indicator lights up. In Sleep Mode, the fan operates at its lowest, quietest setting, and the display lights dim.
• Press the Power button again to turn the unit off.

Timer Function:

• Press the Timer button (⏱) to set the operating duration.
• Available timer settings are 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours. The unit will automatically turn off once the selected time has elapsed.

UV Light Function:

• Press the UV button (☀) to turn the UV Germicidal Light on or off.
• The UV light helps deactivate viruses, bacteria, and fungi in the air.

Essential Oil Compatibility:

The Crane Air Purifier is designed to be compatible with essential oils. Locate the small disc on the top of the unit, which can be slid out. Apply a few drops of your preferred essential oil to the filter pad within this disc, then slide it back into place. This allows the unit to diffuse pleasant aromas while purifying the air.

4. Maintenance

Filter Replacement:

• The filter indicator light will turn red when it's time to replace the filter (approximately every 2000 hours of use, or 3-6 months depending on usage).
• To replace the filter:
  1. Turn off and unplug the air purifier.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the bottom cover to unlock and remove it.
  3. Carefully remove the old filter.
  4. Insert a new Crane Filter (HS-1944) into the compartment, ensuring it is properly seated.
  5. Replace the bottom cover and twist to lock it.
  6. Plug in the unit. To reset the filter indicator, press and hold the filter reset button (usually the power button or a dedicated filter button) for 3-5 seconds until the light turns off.

Pre-Filter Cleaning:

• The pre-filter is washable and should be cleaned regularly (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal performance.
• Remove the pre-filter from the main filter unit.
• Gently wash the pre-filter with mild soap and water, or vacuum it with a brush attachment.
• Allow the pre-filter to air dry completely before reassembling.

5. Troubleshooting

• Unit Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and a working electrical outlet.
  • Check if the filter compartment cover is properly closed and locked.
• Reduced Airflow or Odor:
  • Check and clean the washable pre-filter.
  • Replace the True HEPA filter if the filter indicator light is red or if it has been 3-6 months since the last replacement.
• Unusual Noise:
  • Ensure the unit is on a flat, stable surface.
  • Check for any obstructions in the air intake or outlet.
  • Verify the filter is correctly installed.
• Filter Indicator Light Remains Red After Replacement:
  • After replacing the filter, you must manually reset the filter indicator. Refer to the "Filter Replacement" section for instructions.
