For enhanced security, it is recommended to mount the safe to a strong horizontal or vertical surface.

Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator light illuminates. Always use new, high-quality AA alkaline batteries.

  3. Remove old batteries and dispose of them properly.
  4. Insert new batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery compartment.

5.2 Cleaning

Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Safe does not open with code:
    • Ensure batteries are fresh and installed correctly. Replace if necessary.
    • Re-enter the code carefully, ensuring each digit is pressed firmly.
    • If the code was recently changed, try the old code or reset the code following Section 4.1.
    • Use the override key to open the safe and then re-program your code.
  • Code does not 'stay' or resets:
    • This is often an indication of low batteries. Replace all batteries with new ones.
    • Ensure the code programming steps (Section 4.1) are followed precisely, including pressing '#' or 'ENTER' to confirm.
  • Door mechanism gets stuck or does not open smoothly:
    • Check for any obstructions around the door or inside the safe that might be preventing smooth operation.
    • Ensure the safe is mounted on a flat, stable surface and not warped or under stress.
    • If the issue persists, contact customer support.
  • Keypad is unresponsive:
    • Replace batteries.
    • If still unresponsive, use the override key to open the safe and contact customer support.
