2.2 Inverter Motor

3. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your dishwasher. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified technician.

3.1 Pre-Installation Checks

  • Ensure the installation area has adequate water supply and drainage connections.
  • Verify that the electrical supply meets the appliance's requirements (230 Volts).
  • Check for sufficient space and proper ventilation.

3.2 Dimensions and Placement

3.3 Water and Electrical Connections

Connect the water inlet and drain hoses securely. Ensure all electrical connections are made according to local regulations and the appliance's specifications.

4. Initial Setup

Before using your dishwasher for the first time, follow these steps:

  1. Fill the Salt Dispenser: Remove the cap from the salt dispenser (usually located at the bottom of the wash tub) and fill it with dishwasher salt. Add water to the dispenser until it overflows, then replace the cap securely.
  2. Fill the Rinse Aid Dispenser: Open the rinse aid dispenser cover (located on the inside of the door) and fill it with rinse aid until the indicator reaches the maximum level. Close the cover firmly.
  3. Adjust Water Hardness: Consult your local water supplier for water hardness information. Adjust the dishwasher's water softener setting according to the instructions in the full manual to optimize cleaning performance and prevent limescale buildup.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading the Dishwasher

For best cleaning results and to prevent damage, load dishes correctly.

  • Scrape off large food particles before loading.
  • Place glasses, cups, and smaller items in the upper basket.
  • Place plates, bowls, and larger items in the lower basket.
  • Ensure items do not block the spray arms.
  • Use the cutlery basket for forks, knives, and spoons, ensuring sharp ends face down for safety.

5.2 Adding Detergent

Add the appropriate amount of dishwasher detergent to the dispenser located on the inside of the door. Refer to the detergent packaging for dosage recommendations.

5.3 Program Selection and Start

Your dishwasher offers various wash cycles. Common options include:

  • Normal: For everyday dishware with normal soil.
  • Intensive: For heavily soiled pots, pans, and bakeware.

To start a cycle:

  1. Close the dishwasher door firmly.
  2. Select the desired wash program using the control panel buttons.

6. Maintenance
