2. Connect the Smart Plug

  1. Plug the Maxcio Smart Wi-Fi Plug into a standard wall outlet.
  2. Ensure the indicator light on the plug is blinking rapidly. If not, press and hold the power button on the plug for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.

3. Pair with the Smart Life App

  1. Open the Smart Life app on your smartphone.
  2. Tap the 'Add Device' button (usually a '+' icon) in the top right corner.
  3. Select 'Electrical Outlet' or 'Smart Plug' from the device list.
  4. Confirm that the indicator light on the plug is blinking rapidly.
  5. Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as the smart plug does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
  6. The app will begin connecting to the device. Once connected, you can rename the plug for easier control.
