3. Setup

Before operating your FERM CTM1017 Combi Tool, ensure it is properly set up and all components are securely attached.

3.1. Attaching the Flexible Shaft

1. Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.
2. Unscrew the collet nut from the main tool's spindle.
3. Insert the flexible shaft's drive end into the tool's spindle.
4. Securely tighten the flexible shaft's coupling nut onto the tool's spindle.
5. Insert the desired accessory into the collet of the flexible shaft and tighten the collet nut using the provided wrench.

3.2. Assembling the Adjustable Stand

1. Assemble the stand components as per the diagram in the packaging.
2. Secure the stand to a stable workbench or surface using the clamp.
3. Hang the main tool unit from the hook on the adjustable stand. This allows the flexible shaft to hang freely for comfortable operation.
