Operating Instructions
Temperature Control:
Your EuropAce EFZ 1361S refrigerator is equipped with an adjustable temperature thermostat. The thermostat dial is typically located inside the refrigerator compartment.
- Turn the dial to adjust the cooling intensity. Higher numbers generally indicate colder temperatures.
- Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed based on ambient temperature and food load.
- Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize after making an adjustment.
Food Storage:
- Do not overload the refrigerator. Allow space for air to circulate around items.
- Store perishable foods in sealed containers to maintain freshness and prevent odors.
- The refrigerator is suitable for storing baby food, beverages, and other perishable items.
Automatic Defrosting:
This refrigerator features an automatic defrosting system. Frost buildup on the evaporator will periodically melt and drain away, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. Ensure the drain hole (if visible) is not blocked.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your refrigerator.
Exterior Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent and water.
- For the brushed silver finish, wipe in the direction of the grain to avoid streaks.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or solvents.
Interior Cleaning:
- Always unplug the refrigerator before cleaning the interior.
- Remove all food items and shelves.
- Wash interior surfaces, shelves, and door bins with a solution of warm water and mild detergent or baking soda.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Door Seal Maintenance:
Clean the door gasket regularly with warm water and mild soap to ensure a tight seal. A damaged or dirty gasket can lead to poor cooling performance and increased energy consumption.
