Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage. Remove any protective films or packing inserts from the unit, especially from the turntable and CD tray.

Placement

Place the unit on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

Power Connection

Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.

Operating Instructions

General Controls

Turntable Operation (PHONO Mode)

  1. Lift the dust cover.
  2. Place a record on the turntable platter. If playing a 45 RPM single, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
  3. Select the appropriate speed (33 1/3, 45, or 78 RPM) using the SPEED selector switch.
  4. Move the FUNCTION button to PHONO mode.
  5. Gently move the tonearm over the record. The turntable will begin to spin.
  6. Carefully lower the tonearm onto the record's edge.
  7. Adjust the volume as desired.
  8. At the end of the record, the turntable may stop automatically (depending on the auto-stop switch setting). Manually return the tonearm to its rest.

CD Player Operation (CD Mode)

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to select CD mode.
  2. Press the EJECT button to open the CD tray.
  3. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the tray.
  4. Press the EJECT button again to close the tray. The unit will read the CD.
  5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback.
  6. Use the SKIP FORWARD/BACKWARD buttons to navigate between tracks.
  7. Press PLAY/PAUSE to pause playback, press again to resume.

Cassette Player Operation (TAPE Mode)

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to select TAPE mode.
  2. Insert a cassette tape into the cassette slot on the side of the unit.
  3. Press the PLAY button to begin playback.
  4. Use the FAST FORWARD and REWIND buttons to navigate the tape.
  5. Press the STOP/EJECT button to stop playback and eject the tape.

AM/FM Radio Operation (AM/FM Mode)

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to select FM or AM mode.
  2. Rotate the TUNING knob to select your desired radio station.
  3. Extend the FM wire antenna on the back of the unit for better FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for optimal reception.

Bluetooth Operation (BLUETOOTH Mode)

  1. Press the FUNCTION button to select BLUETOOTH mode. The display will show "BLUE" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your external device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and search for "Victrola VTA-750B+-MAH".
  3. Select the unit from your device's Bluetooth list to pair. Once paired, the "BLUE" indicator will stop flashing.
  4. You can now stream audio from your device to the Victrola unit. Use your device's controls for playback.

Auxiliary Input Operation (AUX Mode)

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Press the FUNCTION button to select AUX mode.
  3. Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the Victrola unit's speakers.

CD Encoding (Recording to CD)

This unit allows you to record audio from PHONO, CASSETTE, AUX, or BLUETOOTH directly to a blank CD-R/RW disc.

  1. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD tray.
  2. Select the desired source (PHONO, CASSETTE, AUX, or BLUETOOTH) using the FUNCTION button.
  3. Press the RECORD button on the front panel. The display will show "REC".
  4. Start playback on your chosen source (e.g., start playing a record, cassette, or audio from your AUX/Bluetooth device).
  5. To create a new track during recording, press the TRACK INCREMENT button.
  6. To stop recording, press the STOP button.
  7. After recording, press the FINALIZE button to complete the CD. This step is crucial for the CD to be playable on other CD players.
