Safety Information
General Safety Precautions
- Read all instructions before using this appliance.
- Do not operate any fireplace with a damaged cord or plug, or if the heater has malfunctioned, been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Always unplug the fireplace when not in use.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
Electrical Safety
- Connect to properly grounded outlets only.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- The fireplace is equipped with a Safer Plug™ fire prevention technology that continuously monitors the temperature of the plug. If the plug overheats, it will automatically turn off the unit.
- The fireplace also features Safer Sensor™ fire prevention technology, which alerts you when the heater is obstructed and will automatically shut off to prevent damage.

Setup
Placement
Position the fireplace insert in a suitable mantel or TV stand opening. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation. The product dimensions are 9.5"D x 29.13"W x 23.1"H.
Installation
The ClassicFlame 28" 3D Infrared Quartz Fireplace Insert is designed for plug-in installation. Simply slide the unit into the desired opening. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or routed in a way that could cause damage. Plug the unit directly into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

The fireplace insert can be operated using the control panel located on the unit or the included multi-function remote control. Both offer access to all features, including power, flame effects, heat settings, and timer functions.

Experience a truly realistic fire with the patent-pending 3D flame effect technology. This technology offers a layered flame effect that dances on and behind the logs, creating depth and realism. You can customize the flame display with 125 selectable effect options.
- Flame Speed: Adjust from a fast roaring fire down to a gentle flickering flame with five speed settings.
- Brightness: Select the perfect fire display for any occasion with five adjustable brightness settings.
- Flame Colors: Choose from SpectraFire, Sapphire, Amethyst, Campfire, Midnight Fire, and Auto Cycle.
- The flame effects can be used with or without heat for year-round enjoyment.

Heating Function
The 5,200 BTU infrared quartz heater provides supplemental zone heating for up to 1,000 square feet. Infrared quartz heat helps to maintain the natural humidity in the air, resulting in comfortable heat that doesn't dry out the room's air. Use the controls to set your desired temperature.

Timer Function
The integrated timer allows you to set the fireplace to automatically turn off after a specified duration, providing convenience and energy savings.
Safer Plug™ and Safer Sensor™ Technology
Your ClassicFlame fireplace is equipped with advanced safety features:
- Safer Plug™: This technology continuously monitors the temperature of the plug. If it detects overheating, it automatically shuts off the unit to prevent electrical fire, circuit, or product damage.
- Safer Sensor™: This technology alerts you when the heater is obstructed and will automatically shut off to prevent damage, ensuring safe operation.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- For general cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
- To clean the glass panel, use a soft cloth and a glass cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the unit.
- Periodically check the air intake and exhaust vents for dust or debris and clean as necessary to ensure proper airflow.
Storage
When not in use, store the fireplace insert in a dry, cool location, preferably in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
