  1. Omnivore Griddle Plate: The heavy-duty rolled carbon steel cooking surface.
  2. Rear Grease Management System: A patented system to collect excess grease for easier cleanup.
  3. Piezo Ignition: Built-in igniters for easy startup.
  4. Propane Connection: Point for attaching a 1 lb. propane bottle or a 20 lb. tank with an adapter hose (not included).
Blackstone 22-inch Tabletop Griddle dimensions: 23 inches long, 10 inches high, 22.5 inches wide.

The griddle measures approximately 22.5" L x 9" H x 19" W and weighs 25.3 pounds.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the griddle for any damage.
  2. Placement: Place the griddle on a stable, non-combustible surface outdoors. The adjustable-height rubber feet provide stability on uneven terrain.
  3. Griddle Plate Installation: The griddle plate simply sits on top of the main unit, aligning with the base.
  4. Propane Connection: Attach a 1 lb. propane bottle directly to the propane connection point (4 in Figure 2). Alternatively, use a propane adapter hose with regulator (not included) to connect to a 20 lb. propane tank. Ensure all connections are tight before use.
  5. Initial Seasoning: Before first use, it is highly recommended to season the griddle surface. This creates a natural non-stick coating and protects against rust. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil (e.g., flaxseed oil, vegetable oil) to the entire griddle surface. Heat the griddle on medium-high until the oil smokes and darkens. Repeat this process 3-5 times, allowing the griddle to cool slightly between layers.

    3. Turn the control knob counter-clockwise to activate the starter.
    4. Adjust the knob to the desired heat level.
    5. If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, return to OFF and repeat after 5 minutes.
  2. Heat Control: The griddle features two independently controlled H-shaped burners, providing 24,000 BTUs of heat. This allows for optimal heat distribution and the ability to cook different foods at different temperatures simultaneously.
  3. Cooking Surface: The 339 sq. inch heavy-duty cooking surface offers ample space. For example, it can accommodate:
    • Up to 12 Burgers
    • Up to 30 Hot dogs
    • Up to 16 Eggs
    • Up to 10 Pancakes
    • Up to 33 Bacon Slices
