Maintenance
- Dart Care: Always use official Nerf Elite darts. Avoid using damaged, bent, or crushed darts, as these can impair performance and cause jams.
- Cleaning: Wipe the blaster with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not submerge the blaster in water or use harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the blaster and darts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
Blaster Not Firing or Jamming
- Check Darts: Ensure darts are not damaged, bent, or crushed. Replace any compromised darts.
- Magazine Seating: Verify the magazine is fully inserted and clicked into place.
- Priming Slide: Make sure the priming slide is pulled back completely and then pushed fully forward. Incomplete priming can prevent firing.
- Jam Access Door: If a dart is visibly jammed, open the jam access door (usually located on the side of the blaster) and carefully remove the obstruction. Close the door securely before attempting to fire again.
- Lock-Release Lever: If the blaster mechanism feels stuck, locate the small lock-release lever (often near the trigger) and press it to reset the internal mechanism.
