Introduction

The LOFTEK 6-inch LED Light Ball is a versatile, rechargeable, and waterproof lighting solution designed for various indoor and outdoor applications. It features 16 RGB colors, multiple dynamic lighting modes, and adjustable brightness, all controllable via a remote or a button on the unit. Its cordless and portable design makes it ideal for nurseries, pool areas, parties, or as a decorative accent.

Setup

1. Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the light ball. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the micro USB port on the bottom of the light ball. Use a 5V/1A charging device (not included) to plug in. A full charge takes approximately 1-1.5 hours and provides 14-16 hours of lighting.
2. Remote Control Preparation: Remove the plastic insulating film from the battery compartment of the remote control before use.
3. Power On: Long-press the "ON" button on the remote control for approximately 2 seconds to activate the light. Alternatively, press the power button located on the bottom of the light ball.
4. Optional Hanging: Insert the metal hanging hook into the designated slots on the bottom of the light ball if you wish to suspend it.

Operating Instructions

The LOFTEK LED Light Ball can be controlled using the included remote control or the button on the bottom of the unit.

Remote Control Functions:

• ON/OFF: Power the light on or off.
• Timer: Set auto-off timers for 2, 4, or 6 hours.
• Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease light intensity (5 levels).
• Color Selection: Choose from 16 static RGB colors.
• Dynamic Modes:
  • SMOOTH: Gradually cycles through RGB colors.
  • FLASH: Jumps through RGB colors.
  • FADE: Fades in and out through RGB colors.

The remote control has a working range of 13 to 20 feet. When using the light underwater, the remote control should be kept within 10FT/3M-16.4FT/5M, as water absorbs and weakens the signal.

Button Control:

A button on the bottom of the light ball allows for basic power control and cycling through colors without the remote.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the light ball with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: The light ball is IP65 waterproof, making it suitable for use in wet environments like pools or bathtubs. Ensure the charging port is securely sealed with its rubber plug when exposed to water. The remote control is NOT waterproof; keep it dry.
• Storage: Store the light ball in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge when the light dims significantly.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the light ball is fully charged.
  • Check if the plastic insulating film has been removed from the remote control's battery compartment.
  • Long-press the "ON" button on the remote for 2 seconds to activate.
• Remote control is unresponsive:
  • Replace the remote control battery (CR2025 button battery).
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light ball.
  • Verify you are within the effective range (13-20 feet, or 10-16.4 feet underwater).
• Light is dim or not holding charge:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the unit.
  • Ensure you are using a 5V/1A charging device.
• Missing accessories or damaged product:
  • Contact customer support for assistance.
