Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and effective use of your GE StayBright 300-Count Warm White Mini LED Christmas String Lights. Please read all instructions carefully before installation and operation.

These LED string lights are designed for both indoor and outdoor seasonal decorative use. They feature warm white mini LED bulbs on a green wire, with a total lighted length of 74.5 feet (two 37.2 ft strands). Up to 20 sets can be connected end-to-end.

Important Safety Instructions

• READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
• This product is for decorative use only and is NOT A TOY. Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
• Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
• Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
• Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
• Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
• Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
• Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
• Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
• Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
• This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit condition. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit condition may be present and the product should be discarded.
• Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.

Setup and Installation

Before installation, carefully uncoil the light string and inspect for any damage. Ensure all bulbs are securely seated.

Connecting Multiple Sets:

These lights feature an end-to-end plug system, allowing you to connect up to 20 identical GE LED sets. To connect, simply plug the end connector of one set into the fused plug of the next set. Ensure connections are secure to prevent moisture ingress, especially for outdoor use.

Placement:

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. When installing outdoors, ensure the power source is a GFCI outlet. Avoid placing lights where they can be damaged by foot traffic or sharp objects.

Operating Instructions

Plug the light string into a standard electrical outlet. The lights are designed to provide a constant warm white illumination.

Remote Control (if applicable):

If your model includes a remote control, refer to the separate remote control instructions for details on changing light modes or settings. Otherwise, the lights will operate in a constant-on mode when plugged in.

Maintenance

Bulb Replacement:

Replacement bulbs are included with your set. If a bulb burns out, carefully remove the old bulb by pulling it straight out and insert a new replacement bulb, ensuring it is fully seated. Always unplug the light string before attempting any bulb replacement.

Fuse Replacement:

This product is equipped with a fused plug for safety. If the entire string or a section of the string does not light up, the fuse may need replacement. Replacement fuses are included (2 x 3-amp fuses).

1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
2. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
3. Remove fuse carefully.
4. Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided).
5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of attachment plug.

If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit condition may be present, and the product should be discarded.

Troubleshooting

If your GE StayBright LED Christmas String Lights are not functioning as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

• Lights are completely out: Check the power connection. Ensure the plug is fully inserted into a working outlet. Inspect the fuse in the plug and replace if blown (refer to Maintenance section).
• A section of lights is out or dimly lit: This often indicates a loose or burnt-out bulb within that section. Carefully inspect each bulb and replace any that are loose or appear damaged. Ensure replacement bulbs are fully seated. The set includes 2 steady burning LEDs as spare parts.
• Lights are flickering: Check all connections, including end-to-end connections if multiple sets are linked. Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged.

This product is intended for residential seasonal use only (maximum 90 days per year). This Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement of this product if defective within three (3) years from the date of purchase.
