4. Setup & Installation
4.1 Mounting the Controller
The Netro Sprite-6 controller is designed for indoor use only. Select a suitable location near a power outlet and existing sprinkler wiring.

- Use the provided mounting template to mark the drill holes on the wall. Ensure the template is level.
- Drill holes at the marked spots and insert the wall anchors.
- Secure the controller to the wall using the provided screws.
4.2 Wiring the Controller
Before proceeding, ensure the power to your existing sprinkler system is turned off. Use the provided wire label stickers to mark each wire from your old controller before disconnecting them.
- Open the front cover of the Netro controller to access the wiring terminals.
- Connect the common wire(s) (usually labeled 'C') to the 'C' terminals on the Netro controller. The Sprite-6 supports up to two common wires.
- Connect the zone wires (labeled 1-6) to the corresponding numbered terminals on the Netro controller.
- Connect the power adapter to the designated power input on the controller and then plug it into a power outlet.
4.3 App Setup & Wi-Fi Connection
Download the Netro app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your controller to your home Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz only).

- Launch the Netro app and create an account or log in.
- Tap 'Add Controller' and select your model (Sprite-6).
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the controller to your Wi-Fi. This typically involves holding the reset button on the controller until the indicator light flashes green, then scanning a QR code on the device or entering details manually.
- Once connected, the app will guide you through setting up your watering zones, including naming them, assigning photos, and defining plant types and soil conditions for smart watering.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Smart Watering Schedules
The Netro controller automatically creates and adjusts watering schedules based on local weather data and your zone's specific needs. You can monitor and adjust these schedules via the app.

5.2 Manual Watering
To manually water a specific zone or all zones:
- Open the Netro app and navigate to the 'Zones' section.
- Select the zone(s) you wish to water manually.
- Tap 'Quick Run' and set the desired watering duration.
- Confirm to start manual watering. You can stop it at any time from the app.
