Prorelax TENS/EMS Duo Comfort Electro-stimulation Device User Manual

Model: 51944 | Brand: Prorelax

1. Introduction and Overview

The Prorelax Duo Comfort TENS/EMS device is a compact, digital electro-stimulation unit designed for both Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) for pain relief and Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) for muscle strengthening and rehabilitation. This certified medical device offers a natural, drug-free approach to managing chronic pain and improving muscle function. It features a large, illuminated display for easy program selection and a powerful, long-lasting rechargeable battery.

The device combines two therapeutic functions:

  • TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation): Used for targeted pain treatment, particularly for chronic and persistent pain. Electrical impulses help to block pain signals and stimulate the body's natural pain-relieving mechanisms.
  • EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation): Utilized for muscle relaxation, strengthening, and rehabilitation. It can help to alleviate muscle spasms, prevent or slow disuse atrophy, increase local blood circulation, re-educate muscles, and maintain or increase range of motion.
