Effective Vibrating Repellent for Outdoor Pest Control

Introduction

The ISOTRONIC Mole Repellent is a new generation device designed to effectively deter various pests from your outdoor areas. This device generates quartz vibrations at varying frequencies, creating an uncomfortable environment for pests without causing them harm. It is ideal for use in gardens, fields, golf courses, and other outdoor spaces.

This product is designed to repel:

  • Moles
  • Voles
  • Mice
  • Rats
  • Ants

Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Carefully remove the top cap of the repeller.
  2. Insert four (4) D-cell batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). Note: Batteries are not included with the product.
  3. Replace the top cap securely.

Placement Guidelines

Proper placement is crucial for the effectiveness of the repeller:

  • Do not insert the units directly into existing molehills or between them. This can cause moles to scatter in unpredictable directions.
  • Place the devices strategically between your property (e.g., home, garden beds) and the molehills. This encourages moles to retreat in the direction they originally came from.
  • The effective area of each unit is approximately 1,250 square meters (or about 7,000 square feet). Plan your placement to cover the desired area.

Operating Instructions

The ISOTRONIC Mole Repellent operates by emitting wave sounds and vibrations every 40 seconds. Moles, being highly sensitive to ground vibrations, perceive these signals as a natural danger, such as a predator. This creates an unsettling environment, prompting them to leave the protected area.

How it Works

  • The device generates quartz vibrations at specific intervals.
  • These vibrations travel through the ground, disturbing moles and other burrowing pests.
  • The continuous, unpredictable nature of the vibrations prevents pests from habituating to the sound.

Maintenance

The ISOTRONIC Mole Repellent requires minimal maintenance. The primary maintenance task is battery replacement.

  • A single set of 4 D-cell batteries should last approximately 4 to 6 months, depending on battery quality and environmental conditions.
  • When the device stops emitting vibrations or the effectiveness decreases, it is time to replace the batteries.
  • Ensure the unit is clean and free from excessive dirt or debris around the cap to maintain its weather resistance.

Weather Resistance

The repeller features an excellent weather-resistant design, making it suitable for all weather conditions, including rain and snow.

Troubleshooting

It is important to understand the typical behavior of pests when using the repeller.

  • Initial Increase in Activity: In the early stages of use, you might observe an increase in molehills or pest activity, even close to the unit. This is a normal and positive sign, indicating that the device is working and the pests are becoming disoriented and actively trying to escape the vibrations. Do not panic; this means the repellent is having an effect.
  • Time to See Results: Moles are typically driven out within 2-3 days. However, in rare cases, the process can take up to 6 weeks. Patience is key during this period.
  • No Apparent Effect: If after several weeks there is no change, check the batteries. Ensure they are fresh and correctly installed. Also, verify the placement of the units according to the guidelines in the Setup section.
