Safety Information

  • Handle with Care: Glass containers are fragile. Avoid dropping or subjecting them to sudden impacts, which may cause breakage.
  • Temperature Extremes: While borosilicate glass is highly resistant to thermal shock, avoid extreme and sudden temperature changes (e.g., placing a hot container directly into cold water or vice-versa) to prevent cracking.
  • Inspection: Before each use, inspect containers for any chips, cracks, or damage. Do not use damaged containers.
  • Lid Usage: Lids are made of plastic and are not intended for use in conventional ovens. For microwave use, ensure the lid is not tightly sealed to allow steam to escape.
  • Microwave/Oven Safety: The glass containers are safe for microwave and oven use. Always remove or loosen lids when heating food to prevent pressure buildup.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all glass containers and lids with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

Operating Instructions

1. Packing Food

  • The set includes four containers: two 320ml square containers and two 240ml round containers.
  • Use the appropriate container size for your meal portions.
  • Ensure food is cooled before sealing with lids to maintain freshness and prevent condensation.

2. Heating Food

  • Microwave Safe: Glass containers are microwave safe. Loosen or remove the lid before placing in the microwave to allow steam to escape.
  • Oven Safe: Glass containers are oven safe up to 350°C (662°F). Remove plastic lids before placing in a conventional oven.

  • Leak-Resistant Lids: The lids feature a leak-resistant design to keep food fresh and prevent spills during transport.

  • Arrange containers securely within the bag to prevent shifting.

Maintenance

  • Dishwasher Safe: The glass containers are dishwasher safe. Place them on the top rack for best results.

  • Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.

Troubleshooting

Lid difficult to open after heating hot food:

When hot food is sealed in the container, a vacuum can form upon cooling, making the lid difficult to open. To prevent this, always ensure the lid is not tightly sealed when heating food in the microwave. If a vacuum forms, try gently prying up one corner of the lid to release the pressure.
