4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Mounting the Dispenser
The PURELL ES6 dispenser can be installed using either the included adhesive tape or screws (not included).
- Choose a Location: Select a flat, clean wall surface at an appropriate height for users. Ensure there is enough space below for hands and a drip tray if desired.
- Clean the Surface: Wipe the mounting surface with a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol. Allow it to dry completely.
- Adhesive Tape Installation:
- Remove the protective backing from the adhesive tape on the back of the dispenser.
- Press the dispenser firmly against the wall for 30 seconds.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before adding the refill.
- Screw Installation (Optional):
- Open the dispenser cover.
- Mark the desired screw locations on the wall using the dispenser's mounting holes as a template.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary and insert appropriate wall anchors (not included).
- Secure the dispenser to the wall with screws (not included).
4.2. Battery Installation
The dispenser requires 4 C-cell batteries (included).
- Open the dispenser cover.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert the 4 C-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
4.3. Refill Installation
Ensure you are using a compatible PURELL ES6 HEALTHY SOAP refill.
- Open the dispenser cover.
- Align the refill bottle with the dispenser's internal mechanism. The ES6 refills are designed for easy, snap-in installation.
- Push the refill firmly into place until it clicks securely.
- Close the dispenser cover.

5. Operating Instructions
The PURELL ES6 dispenser is designed for simple, touch-free operation.
- Place your hand directly under the dispenser's sensor.
- The dispenser will automatically dispense a pre-measured amount of soap into your hand.
- Rub your hands together to create lather, then rinse thoroughly with water.

6.1. Checking Soap Levels

When a refill is empty, replace it with a new, compatible PURELL ES6 HEALTHY SOAP refill. The factory-sealed refills help eliminate contamination.
