1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Controller

Before initial use, or when the battery is low, charge the Pro Controller using the included USB-C to USB-A Charging Cable. Connect the USB-C end to the controller and the USB-A end to a Nintendo Switch AC Adapter (sold separately) or any compatible USB charging port. A full charge provides approximately 40 hours of gameplay.

3.2. Pairing with Nintendo Switch

1. Ensure your Nintendo Switch console is powered on and in TV mode or tabletop mode.
2. From the HOME Menu, navigate to Controllers > Change Grip/Order.
3. On the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, locate and press the small circular SYNC Button on the top edge of the controller for at least one second. The player indicator LEDs on the bottom of the controller will begin to flash.
4. Once the controller is successfully paired, the player indicator(s) will light up solid.

3.3. Connecting to a Chromebook

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller can also be connected to a Chromebook for use with compatible games and emulators.

1. On the Pro Controller, press and hold the small circular SYNC Button located next to the USB-C port until the player indicator lights begin to flash.
2. On your Chromebook, click on the time in the bottom-right corner to open the Quick Settings panel.
3. Click on the Bluetooth icon to ensure Bluetooth is enabled. If it's off, toggle it on.
4. Select Pair new device.
5. From the list of available devices, select Pro Controller. The Chromebook will then connect to your controller.
