4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Maxcio Mini Smart Plug:
- Step 1: Connect WiFi plug to power supply.
Plug the Maxcio Mini Smart Plug into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the plug will begin to flash, indicating it is in pairing mode. - Step 2: Download "Smartlife" App.
Download the "Smartlife" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Register for a new account or log in if you already have one. - Step 3: Pair with the plug.
Open the SmartLife app, tap the "+" icon to add a device, and select "Electrical Outlet" or "Smart Plug". Follow the in-app instructions to connect the plug to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup. - Step 4: Integrate with Voice Assistants (Optional).
To use with Amazon Alexa or Google Home, enable the "Smart Life" skill/action within the respective voice assistant app. Link your Smart Life account to the voice assistant. You can then discover devices and control them by voice.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Remote Control via SmartLife App
Once paired, you can control your smart plug from anywhere with an internet connection using the SmartLife app. Simply open the app, select the desired plug, and toggle its power on or off.

5.2 Voice Control with Alexa/Google Home
After linking your Smart Life account to Amazon Alexa or Google Home, you can use voice commands to control your smart plug. Examples:

- "Hey Google, turn off the fan."
5.3 Scheduling and Timers
The SmartLife app allows you to create schedules and set timers for your appliances:
- Schedule: Set specific times for the plug to turn on or off daily or on selected days of the week. For example, turn on a coffee maker at 7:00 AM.
- Timer: Set a countdown timer for the plug to turn off after a specified duration.
