2. Product Features

4. Installation Guide
Follow these general steps for replacing your water filter. Refer to your specific system's manual for detailed instructions if available.
- Turn off the water supply to your filtration system.
- Locate the existing filter cartridge.
- Twist the old filter cartridge counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Be prepared for a small amount of water to drip.
- Insert the new Waterdrop WD-W00 filter cartridge into the filter head.
- Twist the new cartridge clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- Turn on the water supply slowly and check for leaks.
- Flush the new filter by running water through it for approximately 5 minutes to remove any carbon fines and air.

5. Operating Your Filter
Once installed, the filter operates automatically with your cold water supply. Ensure the filter is connected to the cold water valve only. This filter is designed to improve the taste and odor of your water by reducing chlorine and other contaminants, but it does not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).

6. Maintenance and Filter Replacement
For optimal performance and to ensure continuous access to filtered water, replace your Waterdrop WD-W00 filter cartridge every 6 months or after filtering 15,000 gallons, whichever comes first. The actual lifespan may vary based on your local water quality and usage.
