Safety Information

Setup
1. Assembly
The Vax Rapid Power Pro is designed for easy assembly. Ensure the handle is securely clicked into place. Refer to the diagrams on the packaging for visual guidance if needed.
2. Filling the Clean Water Tank
Locate the clean water tank, typically positioned at the top of the unit. The RapidPower Pro features an auto-mix system, simplifying the process of preparing your cleaning solution.
- Remove the clean water tank from the main unit.
- Fill the tank with warm tap water up to the indicated "Water Fill" line.
- Add the Vax Ultra+ Carpet Cleaning Solution to the designated "Solution Fill" line. The auto-mix system will ensure the correct dilution.
- Securely replace the tank cap and re-insert the tank into the unit until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions
1. Selecting Cleaning Mode
The Vax Rapid Power Pro offers different cleaning modes for varying needs:
- Quick Clean: For lighter cleaning and faster drying times.
- Deep Clean: For heavily soiled areas requiring a more thorough wash.
Rotate the "Clean Mode" dial on the base of the unit to select your desired setting.

2. Carpet Cleaning
Before cleaning, vacuum the area thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Plug the carpet cleaner into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the unit.
- For washing, push the machine forward slowly while pressing the trigger to release cleaning solution.
- Release the trigger and pull the machine backward slowly over the same area to extract dirty water. Overlap passes slightly.
- Repeat passes until the extracted water appears clean.
- For rinsing, switch the dial to the "Rinse" setting (if available on your model) and repeat steps 3-5 using only water.

3. Using the Upholstery Wash Tool
The included upholstery wash tool and stretch hose allow for cleaning of furniture, stairs, and car interiors.
- Attach the stretch hose to the designated port on the main unit.
- Connect the upholstery wash tool to the end of the hose.
- Ensure the clean water tank is filled with solution.
- Press the trigger on the upholstery tool to spray solution onto the fabric, then scrub gently.
- Release the trigger and pull the tool over the wet area to extract the dirty water.
- Test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure colorfastness.

4. Drying Time
The RapidPower Pro is designed to significantly reduce drying times. Carpets can dry in approximately one hour, depending on humidity and airflow.

Maintenance
1. Emptying and Cleaning Tanks
After each use, or when the dirty water tank is full, it must be emptied and cleaned.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Remove the dirty water tank.
- Pour out the dirty water into a sink or drain.
- Rinse the dirty water tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Clean the filter located within the dirty water tank, if applicable.
- Allow both tanks to air dry before reassembling or storing the unit.
2. Cleaning Brush Bars
Regularly inspect and clean the SpinScrub brush bars to ensure optimal performance.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
