Setup

Unpacking and Initial Inspection:

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Verify that all listed accessories are present: pressure cooker unit, inner pot, power cord, measuring cup, meal spoon, and user manual.
3. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

First Use and Assembly:

1. Before first use, wash the inner pot, lid, and sealing ring with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
2. Place the inner pot into the cooker base. Ensure it sits properly.
3. Align the lid with the cooker base. Turn the lid clockwise until it locks into place. The 'LOCK' indicator on the cooker should align with the lid's lock position.
4. Ensure the steam release handle is in the 'Sealing' position for pressure cooking.
5. Connect the power cord to the cooker and then to a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview:

The control panel features a digital display, pressure level indicators, and various function buttons for different cooking modes.

Selecting a Cooking Program:

1. Add ingredients and liquid to the inner pot according to your recipe. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
2. Secure the lid and ensure the steam release handle is in the 'Sealing' position.
3. Press the desired function button (e.g., Rice, Soup, Meat). The default cooking time and pressure level for that program will display.
4. To adjust cooking time or pressure, use the 'Adjust' button and '+' / '-' buttons.
5. The cooker will automatically begin the pre-heating cycle, then start cooking.

Using Delay Start:

The 'Delay Time' function allows you to set a delayed start for your cooking program, up to 24 hours.

1. After selecting a cooking program and adjusting settings, press the 'Delay Time' button.
2. Use the '+' / '-' buttons to set the desired delay time.
3. The cooker will start cooking automatically after the set delay period.

Pressure Release:

Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode. To release pressure:

• Natural Release: Allow the pressure to release naturally. This is recommended for foamy foods or large cuts of meat. The float valve will drop on its own.
• Quick Release: Carefully turn the steam release handle to the 'Venting' position. Caution: Steam will be released rapidly. Keep hands and face away from the steam vent.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

1. Always unplug the cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Inner Pot: The inner pot is dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
3. Lid: Wash the lid with warm, soapy water. Remove the sealing ring and float valve for thorough cleaning. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
4. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the cooker base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the cooker base in water or other liquids.
5. Condensation Collector: Empty and clean the condensation collector after each use.

Troubleshooting

• Lid will not close/lock: Ensure the sealing ring is properly installed and the inner pot is correctly seated. Check for any food debris obstructing the lid mechanism.
