5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Camera Components

5.2 Video Mode Switching
The camera supports AHD, TVI, CVI, and CVBS video formats. The default mode is AHD. If your DVR system uses TVI, CVI, or CVBS, you must adjust the camera to the corresponding mode using the OSD button. Failure to do so may result in no image or poor image quality.

5.3 DVR Compatibility
Your DVR must support up to 1080N or higher resolution for optimal performance with these 1080P cameras. Refer to the diagram below for compatibility.

5.4 Mounting the Camera
The camera features an adjustable 3-axis stand for flexible mounting on walls or ceilings. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the camera's weight.

- Use the camera base as a template to mark drilling points on the mounting surface.
- Drill pilot holes and insert the provided wall plugs if necessary.
- Secure the camera base to the surface using the mounting screws.
- Adjust the camera angle using the 3-axis stand to achieve the desired field of view. The camera allows for 90-degree rotation.

5.5 Connecting the Camera
- Connect the BNC video output cable from the camera to the corresponding video input port on your DVR.
- Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the camera's power port and then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- Ensure all connections are secure.
6. Operating the Camera System
6.1 Day and Night Vision
The camera automatically switches between day (color) and night (black and white infrared) vision modes based on ambient light conditions. The hidden infrared light ensures clear imaging even in complete darkness.
