Operating Instructions
Extending the Blade

Taking Measurements
External Measurements: Place the Tru-Zero hook against the edge of the object you wish to measure. Extend the blade until the desired length is reached. The Tru-Zero hook is designed to compensate for its own thickness, ensuring accuracy.
Internal Measurements: For internal measurements, such as inside a window frame, push the Tru-Zero hook against the inside surface. The hook will slide slightly to account for its thickness, providing an accurate reading.
Reading Fractional Measurements
The blade features fractional graphics, making it easy to read measurements down to 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 inch increments without complex calculations.
Locking and Retracting the Blade
The dual-locking mechanism provides two ways to secure the blade:
