Controls and Ports

• Power Button: Long press to turn on/off. Short press to change mode.
• Play/Pause Button: Play or pause audio. Answer/end calls.
• Volume Up/Next Track: Short press for volume up, long press for next track.
• Volume Down/Previous Track: Short press for volume down, long press for previous track.

Setup

Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the Micro USB end of the charging cable to the Micro USB port on the speaker.
2. Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.

Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Long press the Power button until the LED indicator lights up.
• To Power Off: Long press the Power button again until the LED indicator turns off.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (the LED indicator will blink rapidly). If not, short press the Power button to cycle through modes until Bluetooth mode is activated.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
3. Search for available devices and select "BB496" from the list.
4. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator will glow solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
5. You can now play audio wirelessly from your device.

AUX Connection

1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX audio cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack of your audio device.
3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode, or you may need to short press the Power button to select AUX mode.
4. Control playback and volume from your connected device.

USB / Micro SD Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or a Micro SD card into the Micro SD card slot.
2. The speaker will automatically detect the media and begin playing audio files, or you may need to short press the Power button to select USB/SD mode.
3. Use the speaker's control buttons to play/pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.

FM Radio Function

1. Short press the Power button to switch to FM radio mode.
2. Long press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
3. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons (short press) to navigate through saved stations.

Hands-Free Calling

• When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.
• To Answer a Call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
• To End a Call: Short press the Play/Pause button again.
• To Reject a Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.

Maintenance
