Setup

Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) out to position 2.
  2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
  3. Push the crown back into position 1 to start the watch.

Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to position 1.5 (halfway between position 1 and 2).
  2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date.
  3. Once the correct date is displayed, push the crown back into position 1.

Chronograph Hand Reset

If the chronograph hands are not aligned to the 12 o'clock position when reset, they may need calibration.

  1. Pull the crown out to position 2.
  2. Press the upper pusher (A) repeatedly to advance the chronograph second hand to the 12 o'clock position.
  3. Press the lower pusher (B) repeatedly to advance the chronograph minute hand to the 12 o'clock position.
  4. Once all chronograph hands are aligned, push the crown back into position 1.

Operating the Watch

Timekeeping

Your TIMEX watch is powered by a precise quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping once set correctly.

Chronograph Function

The chronograph function allows for measuring elapsed time.

  1. To start the chronograph, press the upper pusher (A). The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
  2. To stop the chronograph, press the upper pusher (A) again. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph hands.
  3. To reset the chronograph, press the lower pusher (B). The chronograph hands will return to their 12 o'clock starting positions.

Indiglo Night-Light

To activate the Indiglo night-light, press and hold the crown. The entire dial will illuminate for easy reading in low-light conditions.

Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, but not for diving or snorkeling. Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet to prevent water ingress.

Battery Replacement
