5. Operating Your Mount
The Premier Mounts AM65 offers versatile positioning for your display.
- Swing/Extension: Gently pull or push the display to extend or retract the arms. The dual-arm design allows for smooth, wide-range movement.
- Swivel: Rotate the display left or right along the horizontal axis to achieve your desired viewing angle.
- Tilt: Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs (if applicable, or use the built-in tilt mechanism) on the TV brackets, adjust the screen to the desired vertical angle, and then tighten the knobs to secure.
Always move the display slowly and deliberately. Avoid sudden jerks or excessive force.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
- Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Over time, vibrations or adjustments can cause fasteners to loosen.
- Lubrication: The articulating joints are designed for smooth movement. Avoid applying lubricants unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AM65 mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- TV is not level:
- Check if the wall plate is level. If not, you may need to re-install.
- Some mounts have a post-installation leveling adjustment. Refer to specific bracket features.
- Mount feels loose or unstable:
- Ensure all wall mounting bolts are securely tightened.
- Verify that the TV brackets are properly seated and locked onto the wall plate.
- Confirm that the combined weight of the TV and mount does not exceed the mount's weight capacity.
- Difficulty moving the arms/swivel:
- Check for any obstructions.
