4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge both the transmitter and receiver. Use the provided 2-in-1 USB charging cable and a 5V, 1A-2A charger (not included).

• Connect the dual USB cable to both the transmitter and receiver.
• Plug the USB end into a compatible power source.
• The indicator light will turn red during charging and turn off when fully charged.
• Charging time: 3-4 hours. Usage time: 6-8 hours.

4.2 Connecting to Devices

The KIMAFUN Wireless Lavalier Microphone System offers versatile connectivity options:

• For Smartphones (iPhone/Android) & Tablets:
  • Use the included 3.5mm Y splitter. Plug the receiver into the microphone jack of the splitter.
  • Plug the splitter into your smartphone or tablet's 3.5mm audio jack.
  • Note: For iPhone 7, 7+, 8, 8+, X, XR, XS, XS Max, and newer models, an original Lightning to 3.5mm jack adapter from Apple is required (not included). For Type-C devices, a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter is required (not included).
• For Laptops & Desktop PCs:
  • Use the included USB Sound Adapter. Plug the receiver into the microphone jack of the USB sound adapter.
  • Plug the USB sound adapter into an available USB port on your computer.
  • Ensure your computer's audio settings are configured to use the USB sound adapter as the input device.
• For PA Systems, Audio Mixers, & Outdoor Speakers:
  • Use the included 6.35mm (1/4") Adapter. Plug the receiver into the 6.35mm adapter.
  • Plug the adapter into the microphone input of your PA system, audio mixer, or outdoor speaker.
  • Note: Not suitable for Bluetooth speakers with less than 15W power.

4.3 Pairing the Transmitter and Receiver

The system is designed for automatic pairing:

1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are fully charged.
2. Turn on the power switch on both the transmitter and the receiver simultaneously.
3. Wait approximately 2 seconds. The devices will automatically connect if they are within 3 meters of each other.
4. The indicator light on both units will change from flashing to a solid blue light after a successful match, indicating they are ready for use.
