Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit.
  2. Slide or unclip the cover to open it.
  3. Insert the required batteries (e.g., two CR2032 lithium batteries) according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Power On and Basic Settings

  • Press the POWER button to turn on the device.
  • The first time you power on, you may be prompted to set the current date and time. Use the navigation buttons to adjust the year, month, day, hour, and minute.
  • Confirm each setting as prompted by the device.

Operating Instructions

1. Navigating Menus

Use the arrow keys (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) to move through menu options. Press the ENTER or SET button to select an option or confirm an entry.

2. Using the Telephone Directory

  1. From the main menu, select TELEPHONE DIRECTORY.
  2. To add a new entry, select ADD. Enter the name, email address, and various phone numbers using the alphanumeric keypad.
  3. To search for an entry, select SEARCH and type the name or part of the name.
  4. To edit or delete an entry, navigate to the desired entry and select the appropriate option.

3. Managing Schedules with Schedule Keeper

  1. Select SCHEDULE KEEPER from the main menu.
  2. Choose to view schedules by day, week, or month.
  3. To add a new appointment, select ADD. Enter the date, time, and a brief description of the event.
  4. Appointments are automatically sorted chronologically.

4. Creating To Do Reminders

  1. Access the TO DO function from the main menu.
  2. Select ADD NEW to create a new task. Enter a description and optionally set a due date or reminder.
  3. Mark tasks as complete or delete them as needed.

5. Using the Memo Function

  1. Select MEMO from the main menu.
  2. Choose NEW MEMO to write a new note.
  3. Memos can be used for timetables, birthday lists, or any quick notes you need to store.

6. Setting Daily Alarms

  1. Go to the DAILY ALARM section.
  2. Set the desired time for the alarm. You can typically set multiple alarms.
  3. Ensure the alarm is activated.

7. Using the 10-digit Calculator

Select CALCULATOR from the main menu. Use the numeric keypad to input numbers and perform calculations. The display will show the input and results.

8. Utilizing the Secret Memory Area

  1. Access the SECRET MEMORY AREA option.
  2. You will be prompted to set a password if it's your first time using this feature. Choose a memorable password.
  3. Once a password is set, data from the Telephone Directory, Schedule Keeper, Memo, and To Do can be moved into this protected area.
  4. To access protected data, you must enter your password.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the device functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section. It is recommended to replace all batteries at the same time to ensure optimal performance.

2. Cleaning the Device

Wipe the exterior of the digital diary with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or alcohol, as these can damage the casing and display.
