Operating Instructions

Switching Modes

To switch between clock mode and timer mode, use the slide switch on the back of the unit. Slide it to 'TIMER' for timer functions and 'CLOCK' for time and date display.

Setting Timers (Timer 1 and Timer 2)

The timer allows you to set two independent countdown timers, each up to 23 hours and 59 minutes.

  1. Ensure the mode switch on the back is set to 'TIMER'.
  2. Press either the 'TIMER 1' or 'TIMER 2' button to select the desired timer. The selected timer's display will flash.
  3. Use the 'HR/+' button to set the hours.
  4. Use the 'MIN/-' button to set the minutes.
  5. Press the 'ENTER' button to confirm the set time. The display will stop flashing.

Starting and Stopping Timers

  1. After setting a timer, press the 'Play/Pause' button (triangle icon) to start the countdown.
  2. To pause a running timer, press the 'Play/Pause' button again. Press it once more to resume.
  3. To stop a timer and clear its setting, press the 'Stop' button (square icon).

Alarm Function

When a timer counts down to zero, a unique alarm will sound for that specific timer (Timer 1 or Timer 2). The display will also flash, and the timer will begin counting up, indicating how much time has elapsed since the alarm first sounded. This feature is useful for knowing how long an item has been ready.

To silence the alarm, press any button. The count-up display will continue until the timer is reset or cleared.

Resetting Timers

To quickly reset a timer to zero after it has completed or been stopped, press the 'RESET' button located below the 'HR/+' and 'MIN/-' buttons. This will clear the current timer setting and stop any count-up function.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your timer, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storage or next use.

Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the timer functions erratically, it is time to replace the LR44 battery. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
