Setup
Battery Installation
The GearLight S1200 flashlight requires 3 AAA batteries (not included) or one 18650 rechargeable battery (not included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- If using AAA batteries, insert them into the included AAA battery holder, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - ends match the markings on the holder).
- If using an 18650 rechargeable battery, insert it directly into the flashlight body with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Carefully screw the tail cap back on by turning it clockwise until it is securely tightened. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The GearLight S1200 features a tactical tail switch for easy operation and multiple lighting modes.
- To turn the flashlight ON, fully press the red button on the tail cap until you hear a click.
- To turn the flashlight OFF, fully press the button again until you hear a click.
- To cycle through the 5 lighting modes (High, Medium, Low, Strobe, SOS) while the flashlight is ON, gently press the button halfway without clicking. Each half-press will advance to the next mode.
Zoom Function
The S1200 features a zoomable head, allowing you to adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a focused spotlight.
- To adjust the beam, simply pull the head of the flashlight outwards for a narrow, focused beam (spotlight).
- Push the head inwards for a wide, dispersed beam (floodlight).

Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, keep your flashlight clean. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
