1. Important Safety Information
Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this generator. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area, far away from windows, doors, and vents. Never operate indoors, in a garage, or in any enclosed space.
- Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable and its vapors are explosive. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks near the generator or fuel tank. Store gasoline in an approved container in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources.
- Electrical Shock Hazard: Never operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are dry and secure. Do not touch the generator with wet hands. Use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) when operating in damp or wet locations.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator engine and muffler become very hot during operation and remain hot for a period after shutdown. Avoid contact with hot surfaces to prevent burns.
- Moving Parts: Keep hands, feet, hair, and clothing away from moving parts to prevent injury.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the generator, especially during operation.

3. Setup
Before first use, perform the following setup steps:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Add Engine Oil: The generator is shipped without engine oil. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick. Add the recommended type and amount of engine oil (refer to the engine manual for specific oil type and capacity, typically 10W-30 or 10W-40). Do not overfill.
- Add Fuel: Ensure the generator is on a level surface and the engine is off and cool. Open the fuel cap and carefully pour fresh, unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank. Do not fill above the maximum fill line. Securely close the fuel cap.
- Positioning: Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors in a well-ventilated area, at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from buildings or other equipment.
4. Operating Instructions
Starting the Generator (Manual Start)
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected.
- Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
- Move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (if the engine is cold).
- Turn the engine switch (ENG.SW.) on the control panel to the 'ON' position.
- Firmly grasp the recoil starter handle and pull it slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly to start the engine. Repeat if necessary.
- Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.
- Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
Connecting Electrical Loads
- Ensure the generator is running smoothly.
- Plug your appliances or extension cords into the appropriate AC 230V outlets or the DC 12V/8.3A output.
- Do not overload the generator. The total wattage of all connected appliances must not exceed the generator's running wattage (3000W).
- Monitor the digital meter for voltage and frequency readings.
Stopping the Generator
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the engine switch (ENG.SW.) to the 'OFF' position.
- Turn the fuel valve to the 'OFF' position.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your generator. Always turn off the engine and allow it to cool before performing any maintenance.
Maintenance Schedule:
| Item | Every Use | Every 25 Hours / Monthly | Every 100 Hours / Annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Check Engine Oil Level | ✓ | ||
| Clean Air Filter | ✓ | ||
| Change Engine Oil | ✓ (or after first 20 hours) | ||
| Inspect Spark Plug | ✓ | ||
| Inspect Fuel Filter | ✓ |
Storage
For long-term storage (more than 30 days):
- Drain the fuel tank and carburetor. Run the engine until it stops from lack of fuel.
- Change the engine oil.
- Remove the spark plug and pour a small amount of engine oil into the cylinder. Pull the recoil starter a few times to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
- Clean the exterior of the generator.
- Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your generator, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine will not start | No fuel Engine switch OFF Fuel valve OFF Choke not set correctly Low engine oil | Add fresh gasoline Turn engine switch ON Turn fuel valve ON Adjust choke lever Add engine oil to correct level |
| No power output | Circuit breaker tripped Overload Faulty connection | Reset circuit breaker Reduce connected load Check all connections |
| Engine runs rough | Stale fuel Dirty air filter Spark plug issue | Drain and refill with fresh fuel Clean or replace air filter Inspect and clean/replace spark plug |
If problems persist after attempting these solutions, contact customer support.
