1. Introduction

5.1 Battery Installation (Transmitter)

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the FS-i6X transmitter.
  2. Insert four (4) AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Binding the Transmitter and Receiver

The FS-i6X transmitter and FS-iA6B receiver are typically pre-bound from the factory. If re-binding is necessary, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the transmitter is powered off.
  2. Connect the bind plug to the 'BIND' port on the FS-iA6B receiver.
  3. Apply power to the receiver (e.g., connect to a flight controller or external power source). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly.
  4. While holding down the 'BIND KEY' button on the FS-i6X transmitter, power on the transmitter.
  5. Release the 'BIND KEY' button once the transmitter's screen lights up.
  6. The receiver's LED should stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful binding.
  7. Power off both the receiver and transmitter. Remove the bind plug from the receiver.
  8. Power on the transmitter first, then the receiver. The receiver's LED should be solid, confirming the connection.
