5. Setup Guide
5.1 Battery Installation (Transmitter)
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the FS-i6X transmitter.
- Insert four (4) AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Binding the Transmitter and Receiver
The FS-i6X transmitter and FS-iA6B receiver are typically pre-bound from the factory. If re-binding is necessary, follow these steps:
- Ensure the transmitter is powered off.
- Connect the bind plug to the 'BIND' port on the FS-iA6B receiver.
- Apply power to the receiver (e.g., connect to a flight controller or external power source). The receiver's LED should flash rapidly.
- While holding down the 'BIND KEY' button on the FS-i6X transmitter, power on the transmitter.
- Release the 'BIND KEY' button once the transmitter's screen lights up.
- The receiver's LED should stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful binding.
- Power off both the receiver and transmitter. Remove the bind plug from the receiver.
- Power on the transmitter first, then the receiver. The receiver's LED should be solid, confirming the connection.
