1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the FiiO X7 Mark II using the provided Micro USB cable and a compatible USB power adapter. The charging indicator will show progress. A full charge typically takes several hours.

4.2 Inserting MicroSD Cards

Locate the two microSD card slots on the side of the device. Gently insert your microSD cards (up to 256GB each) until they click into place. Ensure the device is powered off before inserting or removing cards to prevent data corruption.

4.3 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device to turn it on or off. A short press will toggle the screen on/off, putting the device into standby mode.

5.2 Playing Music

Transfer your music files (supported formats include DSD, APE, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, WMA, AIFF/AIF, AAC, OGG, MP3) to the internal storage or microSD cards. Use the pre-installed music player application to browse and play your audio library.

5.3 Connecting Headphones

Connect your headphones to the appropriate headphone output on the AM3A module (single-ended 3.5mm or balanced 2.5mm/3.5mm depending on the module and cable). Ensure the connector is fully inserted.

5.4 Bluetooth Connectivity

Enable Bluetooth in the settings menu to pair with Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Search for available devices and select to connect. The device supports Bluetooth for wireless audio transmission.

5.5 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume wheel/buttons located on the side of the device. Rotate the wheel or press the buttons to increase or decrease the audio output level.

6.1 Cleaning

7.1 Device Will Not Power On

7.2 No Sound Output

• Check headphone connection and ensure they are fully inserted into the correct port.
