Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean your remote, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the remote's finish or internal components.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's performance diminishes or the indicator light fails to illuminate. Always replace both AA batteries at the same time with new ones. Dispose of old batteries according to local regulations.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote not working: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Try replacing them with fresh AA batteries.
  • Device not responding: Verify that the correct device button (e.g., TV, DVD) is selected. Re-attempt the programming steps for the device, trying all available codes for your brand.
  • Some buttons not working: If certain functions (e.g., Input, Sleep) do not work after programming, try the next code in the list for your device brand. Some devices may require specific codes for full functionality.
  • Back button issues with Smart TVs: Some Smart TV platforms may have unique navigation. If the 'Back' button does not function as expected, refer to your TV's original remote or manual for alternative navigation methods.
