Operating Instructions
Using the File Drawer:
The bottom drawer is equipped with full extension slides, allowing it to open completely for easy access. It is designed to accommodate letter, legal, or European size hanging files. To open, gently pull the handles. To close, push the drawer firmly until it is fully seated.

Locking Mechanism:
The file drawer features a key lock for secure storage of important documents. Insert the key into the lock on the side of the cabinet and turn to engage or disengage the locking mechanism. Ensure the drawer is fully closed before attempting to lock it.

Adjustable Shelving:
The cubbyhole storage area includes two adjustable shelves. To adjust, carefully remove the shelf and reposition the shelf pins to the desired height. Ensure all four pins are securely in place before resting the shelf on them.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish. Promptly clean up spills to prevent staining.
Drawer Slides:
Periodically check drawer slides for smooth operation. If a drawer becomes difficult to open or close, ensure no debris is obstructing the slides. Lubrication with a silicone-based spray may be used if necessary, following product instructions.

Troubleshooting
Wobbly Unit:
If the cabinet feels wobbly, check all cam locks and screws to ensure they are tightened as much as possible. Ensure the unit is placed on a level surface. Adjust glides if present.
Drawer Not Closing Properly:
Inspect the drawer slides for any obstructions or misalignment. Ensure the inner cartridge of the slide is properly clicked into place against the black tab. Refer to the assembly instructions for correct drawer slide installation.
Lock Malfunction:
If the lock is not functioning, ensure the key is fully inserted and turned correctly. Check for any foreign objects obstructing the lock mechanism. Do not force the lock.
