Setup
Battery Installation
- Ensure the lantern is turned off.
- Twist the bottom cap counter-clockwise to remove it.
- Insert three (3) D-size batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Align the protruding pole on the bottom cap with the corresponding hole in the battery compartment.
- While pushing the cap down, slowly and firmly turn the bottom cap clockwise until it is securely connected to the lantern.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Lighting Modes
The lantern features a single power button to cycle through its lighting modes:
- First Press: Turns on the lantern in High brightness mode (1300 lumens).
- Second Press: Switches to Low brightness mode.
- Third Press: Activates the Flashing Strobe mode.
- Fourth Press: Turns the lantern Off.
Hanging and Placement
The lantern is equipped with a sturdy metal handle for easy carrying and hanging. The handle can be adjusted to allow the lantern to be hung from a branch, tent hook, or other suitable fixture. Its stable base also allows for tabletop placement.
