Cleaning the Filter

The Makita XLC02R1B features a 2-stage cloth filtration system. After emptying the dustbin, remove the cloth filter (443060-3) and the internal filter (451208-3). Tap them gently to dislodge dust. For thorough cleaning, the cloth filter can be washed with water and allowed to air dry completely before reinstallation. Ensure filters are dry to prevent damage and maintain performance.
