Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Peerless-AV SmartMount SFP680.
1. Prepare the Wall Plate
The easy-hang wall plate design allows for a bolt to be pre-installed, simplifying the initial wall plate mounting process. Ensure the wall plate is level before securing all fasteners.

2. Attach Display Adapter Rails
Attach the display adapter rails to the back of your display using the appropriate M10 fasteners from the included hardware pack. The universal mount fits displays with mounting patterns up to 494 x 650mm (19.45" W x 25.59" H).

3. Mount the Display
Carefully lift the display and hook the adapter rails onto the wall plate. The auto-latching adaptor rails will automatically secure the display without the need for additional tools. The mount's built-in kickstand can hold the display safely from the wall during cable routing and management.
4. Adjustments
The mount allows for both horizontal and vertical display adjustment. Lateral display adjustment is possible up to 3.38" (85.9mm). Additionally, 1" of post-installation vertical adjustment provides flexibility for fine-tuning the display's position.
Operating Instructions
Once installed, the Peerless-AV SmartMount SFP680 is designed for a fixed, flat portrait display. Adjustments for fine-tuning the display's position can be made as described in the "Setup and Installation" section.
- Lateral Adjustment: Slide the display horizontally along the wall plate to achieve the desired centering, up to 3.38 inches (85.9mm) in total.
- Vertical Adjustment: Utilize the 1 inch of post-installation vertical adjustment to fine-tune the display's height.
- Cable Management: The open wall plate design facilitates easy access for routing and managing cables behind the display.
Maintenance

Troubleshooting

- Display feels unstable:
Verify all wall and display fasteners are securely tightened. Ensure the display weight does not exceed the mount's capacity (350 lbs). Confirm the wall structure is adequate to support the load.
- Difficulty attaching display to wall plate:
Ensure the display adapter rails are correctly aligned with the wall plate hooks. The auto-latching mechanism should engage smoothly. Do not force the display; re-align and try again.
