Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials.
- Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface, away from curtains or other flammable materials. Ensure adequate ventilation around the toaster.
- First Use (Burn-off): Before toasting food for the first time, operate the toaster without bread for a few minutes on the highest setting (6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate. Allow the toaster to cool completely.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 240V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Insert Food: Place one or two slices of bread, bagels, or English muffins into the toasting slots. The toaster features an auto-centering mechanism to ensure even toasting.
- Select Browning Level: Turn the browning control dial to your desired setting. Setting 1 is the lightest, and setting 6 is the darkest. For first-time use, start with a medium setting (e.g., 3 or 4) and adjust as needed for future use.
- Start Toasting: Press the toasting lever down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin, and the indicator light (if present) may illuminate.
- Cancel Toasting: To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the "Cancel" button. The food will automatically pop up.
- Retrieve Food: Once the toasting cycle is complete, the food will automatically pop up. If smaller items are difficult to retrieve, use the high-lift lever feature by gently lifting the toasting lever further upwards to raise the food higher.
Note: Do not force the toasting lever down if the toaster is not plugged in or if the crumb tray is not properly inserted.
