4. Setup and Installation

- Choose Location: Select an appropriate location for installation. Smoke alarms should be installed on every level of your home, inside each bedroom, and outside each sleeping area. Avoid placing them near windows, doors, or air vents where drafts might interfere with smoke detection.
- Mounting:
- The package includes a screw and an anchor for mounting.
- Mark the desired mounting spot on the ceiling or wall.
- Drill a hole, insert the anchor, and then secure the mounting bracket (if separate) or the alarm itself with the provided screw.
- Alternatively, the device may come with a strong adhesive pad for drill-free installation. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying.

5. Operating Instructions
