Operation and Filter Life
Once installed and the filter life indicator is reset (if applicable), your Dyson purifier will continue to operate normally, utilizing the new filter to clean the air.
The lifespan of the filter depends on usage and air quality. Typically, Dyson recommends replacing the filter every 12 months when used 12 hours a day, or when the filter life indicator on your machine or Dyson Link app prompts you to do so.
Maintenance
The Dyson Purifier Replacement Filter is designed for maintenance-free operation. It is not washable and should not be cleaned. When the filter life indicator signals replacement, simply follow the installation steps to replace it with a new one.
Regularly check your purifier's display or the Dyson Link app for filter life status.
Troubleshooting
- Purifier still shows "Replace Filter" after installation: Ensure the new filter is correctly seated and the outer casing is securely closed. Most importantly, perform the filter reset procedure as outlined in your purifier's original user manual or the Dyson Link app.
- Reduced airflow or unusual noise: Double-check that the filter is installed correctly and not obstructed. If issues persist, refer to your purifier's main user manual or contact Dyson support.
- Filter doesn't fit: Verify that you have purchased the correct replacement filter for your specific Dyson Pure Cool Link Desk or Pure Hot+Cool Link model. Refer to the "Compatible Devices" section.
