1. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Unlock

The Lumina 900 Boost is shipped in Lock Mode from the factory to conserve battery and prevent accidental activation during transport. It must be unlocked before first use.

  1. Ensure the light is unplugged from the charger.
  2. Press and hold the power button for approximately 8-10 seconds.
  3. The LED in the switch will change from red to blue, indicating the light has been unlocked.

3.2 Mounting the Light

The light comes with an easy-on/easy-removal quick-release handlebar mount.

  1. Position the handlebar mount on your bicycle's handlebar.
  2. Secure the mount firmly using the adjustable strap.
  3. Slide the Lumina 900 Boost light onto the mount until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Adjust the angle of the light to ensure optimal beam direction.

3.3 Charging the Battery

The Lumina 900 Boost features a reliable Li-Ion USB rechargeable battery.

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the light.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the light and to any powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  3. The power button LED will indicate charging status (e.g., red for charging, blue for fully charged).
  4. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The Lumina 900 Boost has 7 different light settings, including various steady and flash modes.

  1. To turn the light ON, press and release the power button.
  2. To cycle through the light modes, press and release the power button repeatedly.
  3. To activate Boost Mode (maximum lumens), double-click the power button.
  4. To turn the light OFF, press and hold the power button for approximately 1-2 seconds until the light extinguishes.

4.2 Daylight Visible Flash (DVF)

The DVF mode is designed to increase your visibility to others during daylight hours.

  • Cycle through the modes until you reach the DVF setting. This mode provides a distinct flash pattern that is highly visible in bright conditions.

4.3 Low Battery Indicator

The power button doubles as a battery level indicator:

  • Blue Light: Indicates a good battery level remaining.
  • Red Light: Indicates the battery level is below 20% remaining and requires charging.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Charging

Regularly charge your Lumina 900 Boost to maintain optimal battery performance. Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the light with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the USB port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

5.3 Storage

When storing or transporting the light, especially in a bag, it is good practice to put it into Lock Mode to prevent accidental activation and battery drain. Follow the steps in Section 3.1 to engage Lock Mode (hold power button for 8-10 seconds until LED turns red).

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Light Not Turning On

  • Check Lock Mode: The light may be in Lock Mode. Press and hold the power button for 8-10 seconds until the LED turns blue to unlock it.
  • Check Battery: The battery may be fully discharged. Connect the light to a USB charger.

6.2 Battery Not Charging

  • Verify Connection: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the light and the power source.

6.3 Light Flashing Red Continuously
