Key Components:
- Lid: Top-opening lid for easy access to contents.
- Temperature Control Dial: Located on the front panel for adjusting freezing levels.
- Power Indicator Light: Illuminates when the freezer is powered on.
- Run Indicator Light: Illuminates when the compressor is actively cooling.
- Drain Plug: For manual defrosting and water removal.
Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Ensure no parts are missing or damaged. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
2. Placement
- Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface strong enough to support the unit when fully loaded.
- Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around the sides and back of the freezer for proper air circulation.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., stoves, radiators) to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Do not install in areas where the temperature may drop below 0°C (32°F) or rise above 43°C (110°F).

3. Electrical Connection
Before plugging in the freezer, ensure the voltage specified on the rating label matches your household power supply (120 Volts). Plug the freezer into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Do not use adapter plugs or extension cords.
Allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
Operating Instructions
1. Initial Start-up
After plugging in the freezer, the power indicator light will illuminate. Set the temperature control dial to the "MAX" setting for the first 24 hours to allow the freezer to reach its optimal operating temperature quickly.
2. Temperature Control
The temperature control dial is located on the front of the freezer. Turn the dial to adjust the internal temperature. Settings typically range from "MIN" (less cold) to "MAX" (coldest). A medium setting is usually sufficient for general frozen food storage.

3. Food Storage
- Do not overload the freezer. Allow space for air to circulate around items.
- Package food properly in airtight containers or freezer bags to prevent freezer burn.
- Avoid placing hot food directly into the freezer; allow it to cool first.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent and water. Dry thoroughly.
- Interior: For interior cleaning, unplug the freezer and remove all food. Wash with a solution of baking soda and warm water (2 tablespoons baking soda to 1 liter of water). Rinse and dry thoroughly before plugging back in.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh detergents, or solvents.
2. Defrosting
Defrost the freezer when the frost layer reaches approximately 0.6 cm (1/4 inch) thick. Excessive frost reduces cooling efficiency.
- Unplug the freezer from the power outlet.
- Remove all food and store it in another freezer or cooler.
- Open the lid and place towels on the floor around the freezer to absorb melting ice.
- Locate the drain plug inside the freezer and remove it. Place a shallow pan or tray under the external drain opening to collect water.
- Allow the ice to melt naturally. Do not use sharp objects or heating devices to speed up defrosting, as this can damage the freezer.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior thoroughly. Replace the drain plug.
- Plug the freezer back in and allow it to cool for a few hours before returning food.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Freezer does not operate. | No power to the unit. Power cord unplugged. Circuit breaker tripped. | Check if the power outlet is working. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in. Reset the circuit breaker. |
| Freezer is not cold enough. | Temperature control set too warm. Lid not closed properly. Excessive frost build-up. Freezer overloaded. Poor ventilation. | Adjust temperature control to a colder setting. Ensure the lid is sealed tightly. Defrost the freezer. Reduce the amount of food. Ensure adequate space around the freezer. |
| Excessive noise. | Freezer not level. Objects vibrating against the unit. Normal compressor operation. | Ensure the freezer is on a level surface. Move objects away from the freezer. Some operational sounds are normal. |
| Frost build-up inside. | Lid opened too frequently or not sealed. High humidity environment. | Ensure the lid is closed tightly. Defrost the freezer regularly. |
